Physiotherapy

Physiotherapists treat all types of musculoskeletal problems such as back and neck pain, joint and tendon problems, sports injuries, sprains and strains. They can also provide symptom relief in arthritis and other degenerative conditions. The main approach used revolves around manual techniques such as soft tissue mobilisation, myofascial release and joint manipulation, as well as a programme of specific and graduated rehabilitation exercises. Other modalities may  also be used where appropriate.

Juliana has enjoyed a career in physiotherapy since 2000. She trained in Sydney and specialised in musculoskeletal work, through studies at the University of South Australia, before settling in the UK in 2006. Juliana also works for the Armed Forces to help personnel get back to combat fitness, but enjoys helping people at any level, get back to what they love doing.
As a specialist in running biomechanics and a runner herself, she understands on a personal and professional level, the importance of staying injury free. When she’s not in the practice or out running, Juliana might be reading up on the latest physio science, or chilling with her hubby in their camper, exploring the countryside.

Please note that our main physiotherapy treatment room is located on the first floor. If you are unable to manage stairs, please inform reception at the time of booking your appointment so that we can arrange a time when you can be seen in one of our ground floor treatment rooms. Thank you.
